No blood, a little sweat but thankfully no tears in Dynamo today as we celebrate the successful rebranding of Setanta Sports to eir Sport, following eir’s acquisition of Setanta in December 2015.
For the past 3 months we have worked closely with the eir and Setanta marketing teams to establish eir Sport as the can’t-miss premium sports channel for Ireland, representing another string to the eir bow and their first foray into the world of television content.
Thanks to our close guardianship of the eir brand, we were able to clearly define the eir Sport brand identity from the outset and establish its relationship to the eir brand with its core values of ‘Essential to Ireland. Essential for Life.’ Marrying the Setanta channel content to this, our intent with eir Sport is to couple this sentiment with the passion and energy of sport, proving that eir is as true a sports fan as the viewers are.
As well as establishing the brand identity, positioning and guidelines, we delivered the new look and feel for the broadcast graphics, updated all Setanta collateral and implemented a full BTL campaign.
