The global growth in the sales of digital books is astronomical with sales ‘tripling’ month on
month in the US, in fact 1 in 5 Americans now own a tablet.
With this in mind, Eason asked us to imagine a brand new store-within-a-store concept to both retail e-readers and to promote sales of E-books through easons.com. So we developed the eStore, a bright, engaging and inviting retail concept that allows customers to explore
e-readers and understand in a simple way how they work.
Since the opening of the first eStore, sales of
e-books and e-readers have multiplied by a factor of 5; in fact Eason sold more e-readers in 3 months than in the 3 years leading up to
Eason eStore in now being rolled out across the entire Eason estate.
