Dynamo win Gold at the European Transform Awards

Dynamo scooped Gold on Wednesday night at the European Transform awards in London for its work in developing Beekon Batches. The brand is the brainchild of marketing legend Karen O’Neill [PepsiCo, Heineken]. Beekon Batches, is a moreish honey-based alcohol beverage infused with hints of lemon, elderflower, lime and ginger.

From day one when Dynamo presented it, I fell in love and it became non-negotiable. The journey is now even more worthwhile, knowing that it’s been merited for its beauty and design by a panel of world-class judges against some of the most respected brand design agencies in the world

This award means so much more to us than just a trophy. Our big wish is to get Irish design more recognised on the international stage. As a thriving creative community, we need to step out of the shadows and celebrate our work to the level it deserves

Dynamo wins at the 2022 GDUSA Packaging Design Awards

Dynamo wins at the 2022 GDUSA Packaging Design Awards

Dynamo has won a prestigious ‘American Package Design Award’ at the GDUSA awards for Irish beauty legends, The Handmade Soap Company. Anam is their greenest range yet and we are delighted to have played a part in its creation.

The GDUSA’s annual competition “celebrates beauty and style, of course, but even more important, the power of deliberate design to forge an emotional link with the buyer at the moment of truth”. Increasingly, consumers’ truth lies in their impact on the environment and they expect the brands they buy to act sustainably. In fact, it is often a core consideration in their purchasing decisions.

Known all over Ireland as the company where “Kindness comes Naturally”, the Handmade Soap Co. wanted to solidify their green credentials. Our brief from them was to create a name and packaging design for their new luxury range that would resonate with their eco-conscious audience. The name chosen was ‘ANAM’, meaning ‘soul’ in Irish. This spoke both to the sustainable approach taken to the packaging and to the ingredients themselves. As an Irish owned family business, the Handmade Soap Company are incredibly hands-on and take great care in their products, literally pouring their heart and soul into everything they do. The name ANAM was also, importantly, pronounceable by non-Irish-speakers in order to reach a global audience.

We produced an art deco inspired pattern inspired by the ingredients that wrapped around the frosted brown glass bottles. This pattern was screen printed by hand in gold ink by local artisan printers and also extended across the rest of the range, including the fully compostable refill pouches, a first for an Irish cosmetic brand. Everything in the range is fully compostable or refillable and Ecocert and Cosmos accredited. Anam is sold online and through Brown Thomas here in Ireland, stocked in select stores in the U.S. as well as on their dedicated U.S website.

Dynamo creates bold new identity for Ireland and UK’s largest Apple reseller

We’re beyond proud of our latest collaboration with Compu b on their rebrand to Select.

The new identity will roll out across their 6 stores in Ireland and 23 Stormfront stores across the UK making it one of the largest Apple Premium Resellers in both countries.

Our brief was to develop an iconic, energetic visual identity that harmonises the Select’s exquisite product range and vast service portfolio.

To this end, we created flexible design systems, utilising bold colour and graphic language that enables clear distinction across the wide range of offerings. The identity has been designed to work effectively in both retail and digital environments without the need for any adaptations.

Select recently unveiled their two story flagship in the heart of Dublin’s main shopping district on South Kings Street. You absolutely need to visit, when you’re next in town.
