The Aim

Beekon Batches is a honey-based alcohol refresher crafted using only the most natural of ingredients. Our challenge was more than creating a brand – it was to help the team in Beekon to create an entirely new category of beverage  – so the brand identity, packaging and bottle design had to really stand out and play an educational role in helping consumers to understand what exactly honey-alcohol refresher is.

The Game

Given the brand’s objectives, we knew that the bottle and packaging design would play a crucial role in setting the brand up for success.

Our strategy was simple; we started with the vision and worked back from there; to create a unique bottle design that represented the product inside, paid homage to the bees that created the honey, and established the brand as a natural, delicious alternative to the norm. 

Bright, bold colours and strong iconography further enhanced the overall brand world and strengthened the link back to the product’s honey base and natural beginnings.

Quite simply, the bottle was Beekon’s iconic move, a labour of love from both client and agency that set the tone for something completely different and achieved Gold in Best use of Glass Packaging in Transform Europe 2022.

The result is a unique packaging and brand that clearly positions Beekon Batches as a completely different alternative

to mainstream alcoholic beverages and brands. Research results to date also show that 85% of consumers indicated purchase intent, and 90% believe it is a truly different product
