From bricks to clicks

The Aim

In 2021, the owners of several successful Haven Pharmacies in Ireland asked us to help them develop a new e-commerce brand. The challenge? How to create an engaging and unique online retail proposition in a saturated market.

In order to establish the ‘size of the prize’ we conducted extensive research into consumer behaviours and favourite brands in the online pharmacy and health and beauty world.

The Game

From here we went on to develop the brand’s striking new identity.

We designed a seamless web experience, combining best practice UX design with a bold and impactful look and feel.

Whilst building the brand, we also focused on building campaign strategies to drive traffic and generate conversions. We created high impact takeovers on targeted sites such as Mail online.ie and evoke.ie with campaign messaging designed to drive awareness and traffic.

We successfully reached in-market audiences via ‘search’ with contextual and behavioural targeting within the health and beauty digital landscape. We also leveraged social channels to drive on-platform sales using targeted tactical campaigns, retargeting those who showed intent, closing the loop and increasing conversions.

Since launch, WOWLAB has exceeded all targets and expectations.

Performance metrics post launch 2021:
>  Brand searches up 25% month on month reinforcing brand recognition and awareness
>  After just 3 months, returning customers made up 15% of all sales
>  Conversion rates up a staggering 700% since launch
>  Monthly sales revenues up 54% peaking during key Christmas season
>  AOV exceeded pre-launch predictions by 13%
