Heineken identified an opportunity for a crisp, more balanced-tasting cider, that would appeal to no-nonsense consumers looking for an alternative to the usual. Our role was to translate this insight into standout naming, brand identity and packaging to launch this challenger brand into the highly competitive Irish market.
We created a name that simply and purely celebrated the makers as well as the perfectly balanced apple taste, coupled with a visual apple mnemonic in disruptive and fresh green colour cues. Clean, clear, strong and confident, with gold leaf highlights to provide premium detailing. The end result is both highly distinctive and refreshingly simple.
