Creating the ultimate 5-star Lounge experience at Dublin Airport

The Aim

With an expanding network of Middle and Far Eastern travel routes, Dublin Airport had the ambition to create a luxury lounge experience targeted at East-bound, first class and business passengers.

The project brief was to create an immersive, relaxing space that celebrated eastern traditions while expressing a deep connection to the Irish landscape and culture.

The Game

Our role was to help shape a luxurious “Oasis of Calm”, that provides eastbound passengers an opportunity to dine and unwind in an environment that celebrates the finest of Irish design with a distinctive eastern twist. 

Partnering with interior design firm, Nine Yards, we created a truly bespoke brand identity and experience, commissioning some of Ireland’s leading textile designers and craftsmen and women.

The Fame

Since wider travel restrictions have been lifted in early 2022 the Lounge has seen an unprecedented increase passenger numbers. 

Airlines such as Etihad, Emirates and Qatar are all now partners and offer the East Lounge experience as part of their own first and business class customers service.
